33 Weeks

This is pretty much what half of my pictures turn out like these days.  #momlife
How far along? 33 weeks....ignore the fact that the 33rd element is arsenic for a second, ok?  I was just so excited to work in a chemistry connection.  Baby J is the size of a durian fruit and/or a head of lettuce (both of which, coincidentally, I'm equally as likely to consume as arsenic.  Just saying.)
Maternity clothes? Yes a bit, but I can't wait until it cools down enough to wear my jeans!! I can only rock my yoga pants/skirt/one pair of shorts so many times in public without feeling like a total bum.
Sleep:  Good!  I'm pretty reliant on my body pillow....although unless you have one of those U-shaped ones (which I don't) then every time you roll over it feels a little bit like wresting with an alligator
Best moment this week:  Just some really nice get-togethers with friends.  Bible study, work out sessions, High Tea hosted by a British friend...let's talk about scones for a second, shall we?  YUM.

Miss Anything? I was definitely missing cookie dough this week while I was baking!!  Jenna enjoyed herself though...she was supposed to be helping me, but she ended up grabbing a spoon from her tea set and just digging in.
Movement: Still plenty, but definitely less than before.  Or maybe just less drastic movements...she must be running out of room in there!

Food cravings: Sweeeeeeeeets
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not this week!!! Phew.
Have you started to show yet: Oh yeah.  You KNOW you're getting big when your toddler keeps trying to lay on you but keeps rolling off instead.  And then when she finally figures out how to stay up there, she realizes that it might not be as comfortable as she was picturing...
Gender: A girl
Labor Signs: Some cramping, nothing major

Belly Button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? On...this has been the biggest surprise for me this pregnancy!!
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy!  But also maybe a little extra hormonal...we've been potty training this week and I definitely started weeping at the dinner table when Jenna asked to go potty and rocked the whole process from start to finish.  She had done it before, but I think since that was the first time she did it in front of Jacob...I just had a super proud (and pregnant!) mama moment haha
Looking forward to: Jenna starts gymnastics this week!!  Doing sports/activities is one of the things I was most excited about when we started having kids, so I can't wait to see her in action!!

  1. You did an amazing job describing the uncomfortable seating situation. The I now see the pictures as a scene occurring before my very eyes. Jenna is entering gymnastics and that is AMAZING! She is so grown up to be able to go to the bathroom AND to be able to ASK to go to the bathroom! Yay Jenna! And YAY to her amazing parents!
